Centennial (Aroma)

Aroma Characteristics: Strong citrus notes with floral qualities, and a bright bitterness.

Typical Beers: Pale Ales, Amber Ales, American Blondes, American Stouts, American Wheats, Double IPAs, Barley Wines,

Red Ales, India Pale Ales.

Crystal (Aroma)

Typical Profile: Alpha Acids 4.0% - 7.0% - Beta Acids 5.0% - 8.0% - Total Oil 0.8 – 2.1 ml/100g

Aroma Characteristics: Spicy and black pepper notes with hints of citrus and apricot give Michigan Grown Crystal a unique

sensory that differs from Pacific Northwest Crystal. This hop’s aroma is a lot more present in the brew, adding new

character to your lighter lagers and blonde ales.

Typical Beers: Light Lagers, Golden Ales, Pilsners, Belgian Ales, Dopplebocks, Brown Ales, IPAs, Pale Ales, Stouts, Alts,

Kolschs, ESBs.

Michigan Mackinac (Aroma) (Proprietary)

Typical Profile: Alpha Acids 9.0% - 13.0% - Beta Acids 3.0% - 4.0% - Total Oil 0.8 – 1.8 ml/100g

Aroma Characteristics: Later additions and dry hopping adds a strong aroma of fruit punch to the brew. This hop thrives as

an aroma hop.

Typical Beers: New England IPAs, India Pale Ales, American Pale Ales, Pilsners, Wild Ales, Lagers

Aroma Characteristics: We’re getting Lemonhead candy on this variety from all of our sensory trials. A great substitute for

Lemondrop, and Citra.

Typical Beers: American Pale Ales, India Pale Ales, American Porters, Blonde Ales, Amber Ales, American Hefeweizens,

American Barley Wines, Red Ales.

Tettnanger (Bittering & Aroma)

Typical Profile: Alpha Acids 3.0% - 6.0% - Beta Acids 3.0% - 6.0% - Total Oil 0.5 – 0.9 ml/100g

Aroma Characteristics: Mild herbal and earthy aroma. This hop is versatile as it is a low alpha, dual purpose hop.

Typical Beers: Pilsners, Lagers, Blonde Ales, Red Ales, Pale Ales, Wheat Ales

Aroma Characteristics: Earthy tea-like aroma comes from this subtle versatile hop. This early season variety is a solid

replacement for UK Fuggle. Willamette grows extremely well in Michigan.

Typical Beers: Brown Ales, Pale Ales, Amber Ales, Porters, India Pale Ales, Irish Red Ales, Cheat beers, Stouts, Cream Ales,

British Ales, Golden Ales, Maibocks.
